Graduated from St. Thomas College, Pala with Gold Medal for securing highest marks in B.Com
Law graduate (LLB) from Government Law College, Ernakulam
Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB)
Proficiencies:
General Secretary of Deepika Children’s League (DCL) during 1967-68.
Won First Prize for Elocution Competition in Kerala State Schools Youth Festival held at Thrissur in 1968.
Professional Status:
33 years of service in Managerial cadre in Federal Bank. Presently Manager (Administration) in Corporate Planning Department at Head Office, Aluva.
Trade Union Activities:
Office-Bearer of Federal Bank Officers’ Association (FBOA) since 1981. General Secretary of FBOA for the last 25 years.
General Secretary of All India Private Sector Bank Officers’ Federation AIPSBOF) since 1989.
Senior Vice President of All India Bank Officers’ Confederation (AIBOC) having membership of 2.5 lac Bank Officers in the country covering SBI, Associate Banks, Nationalised Banks and Private Sector Banks.
Member in the National Negotiating Team of AIBOC at Industry-level

Trustee of FedBank Hormis Memorial Foundation, Federal Bank, Aluva.
Board member of Little Flower Hospital, Angamaly.
Founder President of Federal House Construction Co-Operative Society Ltd, Aluva having 4 ventures undertaken by the Society:

Educational Initiatives:
Founder Secretary of FBOA Educational Society and Founder Chairman of the Governing Body of Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT) having more than 2300 students and situated in a sprawling 40 acre campus at Hormis Nagar, Mookkannoor near Angamaly, the birth place of late K.P. Hormis, the Founder of Federal Bank. FISAT has 6 branches in B.Tech and P G Courses for M.Tech, MBA and MCA. More than 170 meritorious students from economically backward families are studying in FISAT without any tuition fee. FISAT has emerged as a ‘Role Model’ among Engineering Colleges in the country with excellent academic results, very good placements for students, research initiatives in various fields and commendable services for weaker sections in society.
FISAT students achieved many laurels in Arts and sports events even at national level. FISAT is the only Professional Institution in India run by a Trade Union – Federal Bank Officers’ Association (FBOA). The Society, formed with the initiative of FBOA to run the College, is a charitable society with more than 2000 Federal Bank Officers as members from all parts of the country irrespective of caste, creed, religion and language. The Admissions and appointments in FISAT are purely on Merit basis and without levying any capitation fee.

He is the recipient of “Educational Excellence Award” instituted by Deepika Daily Kottayam and “Nammude Malayalam” online magazine Thrissur in 2012.
